I hope their new one is more like this and less metal than they were on the last one
Let U be the set of all united sets, K be the set of the kids and D be the set of things divided.
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D

Outsiders for my 80s cup picks, the original incarnation of Clock DVA, after being sacked by Adi Newton. Much punk-funk skronking.

Crikey 1997, I've ignored this album for 20 years. I saw the UFO/Schenker reunion gigs and they were great, even got Metal Mickeys signature my LP's - what a fan boy. I never bought any of the reunion CDs, no way they could produce something like Petting/Force It/Lights Out again, right ? I was wrong, this album just carries on where they left off. I've had this on at work for a week, solid. Its that good.

Mogg's voice is the same, Schenker's playing is bang on and Way and Parker solid. Interesting when you think we'd got Page/Plant treading the boards at the same time - they were tuned down for Plants voice and had shipped in a second guitarist to cover Page. This bunch of feral bastards had never got off the bus since the seventies and they delivered this opus. Schenker still delivering melodic greatness; 'Venus' and 'Darker Days' are outstanding, Mogg still vocally strong with his characteristic 'street' lyrics. Pity these guys just can't get along for long.

How great is this album, Elliot Easton - what a great player, the rockabilly lines on 'Best Friends Girl', phew. I found the multitracks to this album on Youtube, a thing of greatness.
