I think it's wonderful in a steady diet of other stuff.
personally, I can't live by prog alone but I know many do.

Absolutely love the classic prog bands ....Yes, Genesis, G.G., P.F.M., Crimson etc, but prog probably only makes up about 10% of my record collection.

neither of those answers (ie: better than ok)

While we love all sorts of prog not just symphonic there are also 100's of prog albums that don't do much for me.
Also like space dog we can't live by prog alone. In fact don't even listen to prog daily.
