Cheers G for the great tracks, i really did love almost all your choices here. And i echo your thoughts on the difficulty of catering to everyone in this kind of "decade" competition, where the choices are so much broader than the genre Cups. Picking the MC5 and the Stooges was more a bit of laziness and 'oh, what the hell' rather than any particular cool statement, though; from memory the 5 have always seemed a bit divisive on here, a Marmite type band. But once i had chosen the Iggy track they popped into my head, and i love that album, so just went with 'Skunk' without really caring if some people didn't like it. I almost picked a Bobby Hutcherson track ... next time.
