Above is Jimmy Dore's take on Pay-Go and he gives Cenk Uger credit for chastising all but three new progressive congress people for going along with leader Pelosi and what appears to be a not liberal/progressive, austere block to the Bernie-type benefits. However, the issue gets muddied near the end of the video where there is some confusion over the older Pay-Go Act (law) and the new Pay-Go rule. Apparently Pay-Go is already a law which, I guess, the Republicans happily break. Then Jimmy gets an email from a stranger who says the new "rule" can somehow waive the "law," which makes the "rule" a boon to progressives if they want to enact Medicare For All or free college. Jimmy's next point is that if this is so then why have the Democrats not said so. And that reminds me of Davey's seemingly valid point that the new rule could act as a block to funding the border wall. So my question to Davey (if he peeks) why did the Democrats not tout nor explain the wall blocking nor law-waiving advantage of the new rule? Meanwhile the progressive pundits and progressive people are up in arms over the rule. Ro Khana has said his bit. Someone, other than Davey and a lone e-mailer, someone in the Dem leadership needs to do some explaining. What, Ms Pelosi, is exactly the advantage of the new Democratic Pay-Go rule.

I did get a little het up, a bit more pro-Trump when he made the announcement but like so much these days, everything is pending. The Mueller report, how the Dems will do in congress. Just have to wait and see what happens and take what people say with many grains of salt.
