Peter Pavli on bass worked with Robert Calvert and appears on Third Ear Bands Macbeth

He was classically trained on cello and studied under Rostropovich (probably the leading cellist of the 20th century) for five years

I saw Hawkwind circa 2003 in a small venue (Walthamstow Town Hall, north east London) with Simon House in the line-up.

It was the first gig that I took a young 32 year old Mrs C to. It blew her away - she still talks about it now 15 years later!

J/J, you will definitely want to check out the second album - eponymously titled.

Not quite as blisteringly heavy as this one, but still a great album and a little more diverse. Better recording quality than this one too.

The rhythm section is great as well. Lots of time signature changes.

mwhahaha... i can hear that, i hear so many elements here that are inherently kathish... such a unique mix. elements of psych, folk, proto-metal, dark lyrics, i don't even know what all, but it's wunnnnnerful
