No thanks.
Like fast-moving clouds casting shadows against a hillside, the melody-loop shuddered with a sense of the sublime, the awful unknowable majesty of the world.

So what's a song with London in the title that you dig, Fishy?

London Calling still thrills. Great song.

The Clash. Still has the power to make you grind your molars. The Bowie tune is gorgeous but sometimes you just need something with a bit more muscle.
You come at the Queen, you best not miss.

You picked the wrong Bowie song, it should've been 'London Boys'.

I'm really struggling to be honest. Does "West End Girls" count? Ewan McColl's cheery London Mourning in Ashes, or Ralph McTell's "Streets of London".

I bet all the good tracks name-check specific areas, rather than just that London.

What about "London Social Degree" by Billy Nichols? BCB decided some time ago that it was their favourite track of all time.

Dark Streets of London by the Pogues is one of their very best.
I've been talking about writing a book - 25 years of TEFL - for a few years now. I've got it in me.

Misfits for R&RHoF 2019!!!
Let U be the set of all united sets, K be the set of the kids and D be the set of things divided.
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D

That would be my pick!

Of these two, I’ll go with the Clash.
