Blur's best vs. a middling Small Faces tune. One of the few that Blur would win against the Small Faces.

I think so, too, but it's a bit charming. Marriott seemed to have some kind of irrational love for it, if I remember rightly.

Just what I was gonna say, except I'm not sure the SF "Universal" even rates as "middling." An A-side that should have been a B-side, if not an outtake.

Small Faces are one of my favorite bands ever and Blur are very far from that, but in this contest I'm voting Blur.

A great single by the Small Faces, one of a fine run on Immediate, all of which are better than anything I've heard (which, to be fair, isn't a great deal, and I'm not listening to this one, on general principles) from Bleurgh.
