You could always think out of the box and switch your vote to "A"...Don't have to go with the (rather large) crowd :D

Neither were my cup of tea.
Despite some energetic playing, A felt like a joke I wasn't in on. B are an act that have a lot of BCB credibility, but I've never been convinced. This seemed monotonous and contrived somehow.

Dunno...A because it's losing and the other track is being wildly, IMO, overpraised.

A is kind of fun. B is much more interesting, though.

More than a bit of a drop off from match 1, this. I hear elements of the Fall and Parquet Courts in A’s garagey stomper, which has some propulsive appeal at least. I’m rather apprehensive that a 70s Cup will throw up a lot of prog of the likes of AD2 but at least this was short.

It's B but I think the other was great, too.

Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D

A is new to me, cheers picker. It rattles along with a nice speed, and i like the mix of energy and groove there. One to remember! Unfortunately, it doesn't quite have the appeal of B to me; i'm a sucker for progressive as opposed to prog, and this one has that right mix of textures and colours that sit very comfortably in my earholes. Shame i can't vote for both, but...

A - never heard this track before - I like the hook and twange guitar but the drums become annoying. It does have a touch of these modern indie drum bands. I like the name of the their first album. (Pass the Dust, I Think I'm Bowie)

B- Not a big fan of them but this is a nice tune by them maybe add this to my current prog playlist.

A was an inconsequential ditty that left absolutely no impression at all.

I wasn't exactly bowled over by B but it wins this easily.

A is the kind of music I have never liked - the frenetic tempo, and then the high-pitched organ on top makes it worse for me.

B wins by default, really.

A was very spiky and angular but in quite an annoying way.

ADII have never really clicked with me although they are the type of thing I feel I should like more. This track didn't really convince me either but it's more than good enough in this tie.

I normally like the sort of shit A is laying down but presented in that fashion it irritated my tits off.

B wasnt that great but it was interesting enough for this.

Don't see the appeal of B at all, so I'll go with the outsider

a - I'm familiar with this, which was a bit of cult in certain circles in which I briefly moved, but it always sounded to me like Johnny Moped with an American production. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but not what cults are made of. The squirrely backing on this isn't at all bad, though, and the instrumental break brought a brief smile. 5 / 10
b - This I'm not so familiar with. I was expecting something more metal, more powerful. Less dreary. This is way too polite and one-toned, a snoozesome rut rather than a groove, and all a bit well, pointless, unless you've run out of Horlicks. A disappointment, although I'm glad someone plugged the guitarist in just before the end. 3.5 / 10

A, for the instrumental break

Black Randy was quite a character; intelligent and funny, but unfortunately a bit too self-destructive and ultimately just a wise-ass with nothing particularly interesting or unique to say.

I've never fully gotten behind B either, but it's a bit less slight.
