I'm hoping for plenty of that kind of stuff.
What I don't want is Minor Threat or any of that noisy thrashy stuff. Thankfully we should be free from that as the US didn't get into punk until the mid eighties.

I'll admit I did try to find some Bad Brains stuff from the 70s. But then I realized it wouldn't fit in AND it wouldn't fly with G so I bagged the idea.
Let U be the set of all united sets, K be the set of the kids and D be the set of things divided.
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D

It was all over by the mid 80's G. Luckily I've put in some '79 proto hardcore for you. Its much noisier and thrashier.

My list is in. It contains five songs you'd frankly expect from me, one you might not anticipate, but which nonetheless fits my overall aesthetic and two complete outliers that I nonetheless love.

I'm going to finish bottom of my group.....

Contains just the five Todd songs

They only released 2 albums in the 70s, so thankfully this should limit the selection of tracks by them. Sadly, Captain Clothears will undoubtedly be inflicting a track upon us by these second-rate Lynyrd Skynyrd clones.

On your list? Or in the whole contest?

Maybe we should start a pool, for side action.

It's not prejudice. I like Neil.

It's more of a joke/comment on how much Neil was in the 90s Cup. And none of it very good. At least 70s Neil would make a better showing.
