All of them are fun in a 'swinging '60s' kinda way, aren't they. Ella's 'ST' has a fab uptown feel, and Little Richard's "I Saw Her...' has a very appealing gritty R&B groove, and those would be my faves, with Shirley Scott taking the 3rd spot with her irresistible playing.
Have you heard this cover of 'Get Back', JC?

Yeah, that's pretty good. I think I prefer the name of the group to the recording!
Little Richard gets my vote.

That whole Shirley Scott LP is great. Depending on your tolerance for Hammond organ.
I voted Harvey Averne because of course I would.

Let U be the set of all united sets, K be the set of the kids and D be the set of things divided.
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D

This place is overrun by bots I tells ya!
Been ages since I heard it but Averne gets it for me. None of the other ones aren't that bad either. But I like that Cliff Noble-kind of drive.

I didn’t comment because it seemed rude to tell you that they pretty much all sucked out loud and that if you held a gun to my head I’d reluctantly choose the Little Richard but if you made me play that song more than once or twice I might just let you pull the trigger. But that’s just me. All polite and shit.
