Disc has arrived. MIne is done following loads of burning issues. TRied laptop with drive and Notebook with old external drive and brand new external drive. All combinations with three brands of disc. All same issue Failure to recognise blank disc. Every single set up rips from CD fine.

Googling issue has loads of people asking same question and advice is usally cleans lens or try different make of disc. THat all sounds like bullshit and I'm not convinced there isn't some flaw in WIndows 10 somewhere.

ANyway in desperation forked out £250 for a recon Macbook, and hey presto success first time.
We're way past rhubarb
