If you are looking for examples of technique over examples of feeel then have a listen to Moroccan Roll by Brand X where he is playing in a more obvious “jazz-rock drummer” style.

My friend growing up who was a jazz drummer always pointed to Collins drumming on Moroccan Roll. He also commented that what made Collins so great was his way of actually making the drumline memorable. When you think of a song you remember the hooks on guitar, bass or even keyboards but rarely do you hum a drum part. Collins did that see examples on Lamb and Selling England.
