Job in the music biz
Chuck Prophet just posted on Twitter that he needs a road manager: $10,000 a week (to start).

I used to like Green On Red but road crewing is the worst job in the world.
I've been talking about writing a book - 25 years of TEFL - for a few years now. I've got it in me.

Dan Stuart, his partner in Green on Red crime, recently wrote a really good paean to his hometown, Tucson.

Apparently, he's touring too the same time as Chuck.

I used to get £80 a day! Which was £30 more than a plasterer at the time and a fortune to me.
Still not worth it though.
But yes the figures don’t really add up do they?
How much would he have to be earning per gig to pay that?

He already saw it and considered it.
He's stuck in a moral dilemma: He puts his local out of business if he goes on the road with Chuck.

Back when we were able to pay people to do such things, ie about 20 years ago, you could get somebody to be your combination road manager, driver, soundman and merchandise manager for about $100 a day.
It was not hard to find someone who was qualified, if you had the $.
