How bizarre , I have been playing them a lot this week , I like T.V Sky best.

I only bought this because of Dälek. I'm not familiar with Young Gods at all but I'm willing to explore more. Any recommendations?

Anyway...

You rarely hear electronic music these days sounding so tactile and muscular. I blame the increase of digital only production.

I was at a wedding last week talking to Adam Smith (keyboards , guitar) , who is my best friends nephew. New music is on the way apparently. The second album didn't touch the heights of Sun . They have parted company with the drummer thank goodness.

Yeah, I wasn’t into the newer stuff I heard.

Nothing makes me want to listen to something more than this board complaining about it like it's some kids skateboarding outside their house.

They can skate all they want, so long as they leave the instruments at home!

Like Guided by Voices at their best, this band never seemed to be going for a specific style or sound; rather they sounded like they were just writing pure pop songs, synthesizing any number of styles as far as their lo-fi aesthetic and musical abilities allowed.

Bryan Ferry - The Sting Of El Ferranti live Nakano Sun Plaza Hall, Tokyo, Japan. June 09, 1977 Audience Recording

Pretty crap sound, tbh. Really good performance though. Phil Manzanera AND Chris Spedding? Hell yeah!

Destination Assassination, a compilation of MR recordings from 89-92. If you like the idea of the Sisters Floodland album without Steinman arsing it up, then this will be right up your dark, rat infested alley. Gangwar were a much better outfit than the Performance to my ears - the material is dirtier, and leans towards more rock'n'roll than industrial. The sisters album they never made.

Returning to the previous album, in light of the latest one being a tad underweight to say the least.

Yeah, his most recent album is fine and all but it doesn’t hold up to the brilliance of Immunity.
