Beatles remasters

Postby naughty boy » 17 Apr 2018, 09:11

The single discs have stubbornly held their price at £9.99 for many months now - online and in the shops. You can't get them cheaper anywhere.

I'm 90% positive HMV (and some online retailers) were selling them at £7.99 last summer - can anyone remember? I want to plug the gaps.

The hi-hat sound on the remasters is incredible, though especially on the left channel, which I isolated just to prove to myself that my lack of interest or imagination in regards to music means that I can throw money at something I already own six times.
Like fast-moving clouds casting shadows against a hillside, the melody-loop shuddered with a sense of the sublime, the awful unknowable majesty of the world.

It takes a big man to cry, but it takes a bigger man to laugh at that man.

Then they might as well say they're selling it for a penny -- or a million dollars.

I came across a sealed copy of the 'Sgt. Pepper' remaster in the bin of a 'Family Dollar' here in Florida for $6.00

I resisted temptation & left it for someone else to discover...

Is the SPLHCB one the first anniversary edition of last year's 50th anniversary edition? If so, I'm in.
