Quite helpful for working out how many aliases people have though :)

Didn't Jeff K win the first BCB Cup when it really mattered? He also likes Nick Cave.

Never much of a nextdoorland guy as much as Yakety Yak. Except for Goldwax and Billybob, most of the erstwhile BCBers were pretty much YY exclusively, from my recollection.

I like Jeff a lot. He's fun to argue with. :D

He's not gone, though. Just posts rarely these days.

That might be why people miss them. You can disagree about music without much turmoil. Disagree about politics (or more accurately, don’t agree exactly) and you’ll be judged, piled-on and every opinion you give after that will be seen through that lens.

Debate.

True. But people used to opine about music too - throw about prejudices, shout about punk or prog or pop. Now we've only really got the fishy fella left. Everyone else either agrees or keeps schtum.

After a while people know your prejudices as well as you. I’ve mostly stopped voicing mine. The folks that are left seem to get so hurt when you shit on their heroes.
