Música para pensamientos.
It takes a big man to cry, but it takes a bigger man to laugh at that man.

I love it. I was listening to some early Prefab Sprout a week or so ago and came to the conclusion, while I like their stuff, alot of it sounds the same.

Still can’t believe your proposal for tour t shirts was turned down

It's so essentially empty, such an attempt to create an atmosphere of averageness, that it's hard to actually notice, even if you stop all other activity and try to listen to it. I guess that's almost an achievement.
Like fast-moving clouds casting shadows against a hillside, the melody-loop shuddered with a sense of the sublime, the awful unknowable majesty of the world.

Re: Rate the song: Bonny
I recently realised that I have listened to Steve McQueen/Two Wheels Good more than any other album.
I'm lost to heaven and I'm lost to earth.
Contrary to the rather trad opinions of the Darkness Fish, I find something genuinely subversive about Prefab Sprout.
Paddy got the weirdest shit on the radio and got all the mams warbling along.
I know my friend echolalia finds his lyrical excesses abominable, but I love it all.
And Bonny is aces.

Goodness gracious me.

It's not my thing, but it's surprisingly decent. Nice guitar solo.

My son's just back from 3 months' travelling in Mexico. Seems everyone and everything is chingado sooner or later!

Funny enough, my Mexican friends rarely say "chingado" or similar variations of the word. But we do tease them with it nevertheless, much like we do the Spanish with "gilipollas" (and they us with "che boludo").
