New Italian band, the album is getting good reviews but hasn’t lit me up yet.

Will give it a 3rd whirl tomorrow.

1st play for me today. Rather gentle. Nice.

Where would you rate it?

I know there are very few admirers of Kansas round these parts.
I'm just about the one and only

Only in the 70s though.

I love Styx as well.

That and the eponymous debut are excellent.

I don’t know much else though.

pretty much anything from the 70s is good and anything from the 80s onward is to be treated with extreme caution.

If you just know those two, try these:

The Second (1975)

(Leftoverture is the fourth)

The Fifth (1977)

the Double Live One from 1978

Yea to Styx, but I've lost my initial preteen love of Kansas. Maybe due for a cautioned reevaluation.

The only Kansas I have is Leftoverture which is better than I expected but hasn’t left me wanting to seek out more. I’ve heard a bunch of Styx albums that the Slider sent me on mp3. Again, better than expected but not something I’d seek out often
