Naturally I've gotten both a stereo Piper and a standard reissue Stooges record in the past year. I should have held out for the better versions!

The Gene Clark is absolutely a cut above typical RSD landfill - and the mono Piper (and Neil Young TTN era live) are hard to resist.

Fuck it - I'm in.

I'm keen on the Bobbie Gentry at the BBC set.... and I'd like the Kids Are Alright vinyl too.

Nigel Pirelli's Skripal Tapes is the only thing of interest for me.
Like fast-moving clouds casting shadows against a hillside, the melody-loop shuddered with a sense of the sublime, the awful unknowable majesty of the world.

I'm actually really surprised at how much good stuff there is this year. Beats the last few years for sure.

And, of course, I just found a regular reissue for "the nice price" the other day. Couldn't resist.

I usually go every year. I always fall for this gimmick, but that’s fine. Here’s what I’m mainly going for:

Die Tür ist zu by Swans
Zeit by Tangerine Dream
LA Turnaround by Bert Jansch

I really want that swans release , don't think it's available in the UK.

I still have that Swans on CD. Gira singing in German.

Managed to get the Steven Wilson and Tangerine Dream-titles, hoping for the Eno/Shields.

Last year I queued up for ages and spent too much money on stuff I didn't really need. Not denying that there's interesting stuff to be had. But will be avoiding.

I had my eye on a Wire 7" singles box set.
I've got all the tracks anyway and don't have a turntable wired up but the packaging might be nice.
So, thinking it was £19.95, I re-read the price last night to find out it was actually £79.75!

You couldn't give vinyl away at car boot sales a few years ago.

After hitting four different record stores here in Nashville, I finally found a copy. Walked out with that, Piper at the Gates of Dawn in Mono, and that Run the Jewels collection. Pretty successful haul in my mind!
