Disappointing/Suprising Influences

Postby Dr Markus » 13 Apr 2018, 12:37

Watched an interview with Ed O'Brien and he said the edge was a big influence on him. :(

Anyone shocked or disappointed to hear a musician/band say such and such is an influence?

What's wrong with The Edge being an influence?
The fact that it wasn't Michael Brook who influenced Evans himself?

I genuinely don't see any talent in edge's guitar playing, or anything inspiring.
