A bit harsh, there's a case to be made that they pioneered what later became the typical goth sound associated with The Sisters. I'm not saying that they were the best at what they did, but they shouldn't be ignored.
Stuff like this:
Danse Society are a bit forgotten, nobody really picks up on the early singles and EP's - they beat the sisters to 'that' sound and they were doing better stuff than most of the Sheffield bands that get credit for being 80's electro pioneers.
Seduction is a great album and the early EP's are all gold standard. 'Somewhere', 'Clock', 'Happy' ended up defining goth by the numbers.
The Death/Dolphins 12'' is untouchable
It took Bauhaus until Mask to get this pretentious.
Plus they were decent blokes, they always gave us lifts back from gigs in their van when we missed the last bus or trains.
Lyndon is still doing stuff he's got a band in town called the Black Lamps, they have an LP out.
