Left off the topic theme is lead singers obligatory playing of maracas, tambourines, cowbells and that odd thing you slap and it goes buzzzzzz.

The use of the harmonica on the last two Talk Talk albums was a surprise, in a good way. It was a brilliant use of the instrument that takes it beyond the blues.

While I don't dig his music that much, Huey Lewis is probably in the top three of lead singers/harmonica players.

I enjoy Robert Plant's tone - it's very Chicago blues - but he doesn't play that hard of stuff. But he's gotta style.

I was also thinking Stevie Wonder, he's very good at chromatic, and Lee Oskar and Magic Dick, but Wonder's the only lead singer.

Lee Oskar is probably the best of all of them.
