Keep your eyes open, and prick up your ears.....
I was just thinking exactly the same thing today, specifically on "No Lullaby". Mister Barriemore Barlow!
Bless the weather.......

I can think of few frontmen whose whole schtick I despise more. He is an utter prick.

I think you will find he is the front man of the greatest band ever to walk the planet. A fact that I find impossible to argue with. And I am certainly not going to debate that fact with a man who prefers the fucking Waterboys to Big Star.
Sorry.

I have that one, and This Was. Silly music.

I agree with both. I don't like IA's schtick either, but I do love much of his (pre-1975) music.

Re: Tull's trilogy of folk-rock albums
I locve all three, although I’m not a fan of the production onStormwatch, it feels a little ‘glossy’ to me if that makes sense.
Hopefully it’s currently being worked over at Wilson Towers.
SFTW is my favourite of the other two, although it’s close. HH probably has the best title track, but as a complete artefact Songs is more consistent.

Re: Tull's trilogy of folk-rock albums
SFTW was the last Tull album I bought so I'm not real familiar with the other two. So I'm not sure if I should vote as there's only one I can honestly vote for. I can't remember why I stopped at SFTW as I liked everything up to and including it. Having said that, I have always enjoyed the drummer on these albums as he was occupying the chair when I saw them on the TAAB tour
back in high school. He is/was a phenomenal drummer.

Barriemore Barlow -- "the greatest rock drummer England ever produced" according to John Bonham.
