Finally paying attention to what Robbie posts.

What did you think? It's nothing new but out of all the textured droning and bleeping that I listen to (and I listen to a lot) I reckon this one's got that little bit extra that puts it up there with the Tim Heckers, Ben Frosts, and Fenneszs of the world. Not quite Yellow Swans though.

Yeah, I like it, it's not a consistently great album, but it's got plenty of variety. The post-punky bass and incoherent vocal of "Barbados" makes the album for me, I can't stop listening to that track.

That Black Cilice album is the thing I'm listening to most at work right now though, it's a lovely slice of black metal, it's got that hollow fuzziness to it. I think I've got a thing for vocals that sound like they're being recorded from the other side of a hospital corridor.
Like fast-moving clouds casting shadows against a hillside, the melody-loop shuddered with a sense of the sublime, the awful unknowable majesty of the world.

Let U be the set of all united sets, K be the set of the kids and D be the set of things divided.
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D
