Do people still listen to Punk? How quaint.
It takes a big man to cry, but it takes a bigger man to laugh at that man.

Oddly, I'm not sure I've ever heard anything by this act. Wait, did they do that song "Babylon's Burning" or something? I think I just heard that recently, but was distinctly unimpressed. It may be that if you come to this stuff years/decades afterwards, it's lost some of its initial thrill.

Good choices from nev gash and PresMuffley above.

Mine might be

Sex Pistols
Black Flag
Flipper
Minutemen
The Heartbreakers

1. Clash (they count, right?)
2. Minor Threat
3. Minutemen
4. Misfits
5. Mission of Burma

basically, the Clash and any punk band starting with "mi-"
Let U be the set of all united sets, K be the set of the kids and D be the set of things divided.
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D

WTF

They weren't really big over here, at least in the circles I was moving in. I don't recall ever being aware of them playing on the radio or on jukeboxes and they never came over and played shows/toured here. So yeah, I would say they didn't have a big impact here.
