Liam Miller RIP

Postby Jimbly » 10 Feb 2018, 16:19

I remember him breaking into a Celtic team as a 20 year old. Wasn't out of place with the likes of Sutton, Lambert, Larsson etc. Moved to Man Utd and it never quite worked out for him. Moved around a bit and had 21 caps for Eire.

Died yesterday of cancer. 36 years old.

He was a good player. He moved to Man Utd too soon. When Fergus comes calling you'd be daft to knock him back though.

He left three young kids as well.

Christ didn’t know that.
Remember so well back when I was a fan being hugely excited when he joined - he just seemed the perfect player for the club. What a tragedy, poor family. RIP

36... jeez that's sad. And the young family too.

Played for a few teams in Australia too, it's terribly sad. R.I.P.

He was a great player in Sunderland's promotion season in 2007 under Roy Keane, scored a couple of vital goals.
