That's really too bad. He was one of a kind. I've been catching to the Fall for the last 12 years and probably will be in 12 more years time.

I also have to respect that he was up there giving what he could up to his last days.

I just phoned the lass to tell her. i didn't want her finding out online. I think she the Fall more than 20 times. her brothers a huge fan too.

Bugger. I knew he'd been very ill, but it's still very sad to hear he's gone.

Music, England and Salford have lost one of their great characters and artists.

You know, it's not like I was under any illusions about him, the days of hero-worship long gone. But I always admired him - for various reasons. He really was a one-off. And that BAND! at their best, they were as thrilling as anyone.
