Well, I just went on for the first time. Tried to play a song from Long May You Run which I'd never heard. The message said something like "This song isn't ready yet. Try back later."

I had fun running through it last night. It does appear to be limited to songs that have aready been released though. I didn't notice any folders of unreleased LPs.

They're there on the timeline, they're just empty. All with generic thumbnail images.
