A few lists driftin' in already (see what I did there?) so thanks to those of you who have put absolutely no thought into it and just cobbled together a list of right old bobbins spent the last fifteen years anally maintaining and updating a personal 'top 100' list been so keen and efficient!

Five lists in so far. Lulu by Lou Reed and Metallica is the clear leader as I write.

Basically once I feel that the "more votes needed"-"how much longer can we wait" line has been crossed.

Bugger. I've just done my short-list of genuine contenders, and it's 87 albums. Not sure how I trim this down.

Chuck the ones out with skulls on their covers.

Bugger, now I'm down to two albums, and one of those is a free CD from Uncut.

At least it’s not a Steven Wilson album.

Let U be the set of all united sets, K be the set of the kids and D be the set of things divided.
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D

I had a hard time narrowing down my choices as well. I skewed my list mainly to albums that have some kind of critical acclaim and/or following, rather than hopelessly obscure/unpopular albums that I would have otherwise included. Mainly.
Where would rock 'n' roll be without feedback?

I'm going to keep this at the top by making a daily post with some well-known things from each year under consideration.
Let's start in 2000.

Oh, no. This century is too cruel for ska.
We don't deserve a Fourth Wave.
