I'm afraid Gary, the Beatles worship is endemic round these parts. I'd leave now.
I see no 300 page thread on who sang the backing vocals on 'A Day in the Life' though...

welcome gary.
yer not kiddin about the rampant misogyny. it was twilight zoney when i was there. you'd have these guys priding themselves on their superior musical knowledge and intelligence, who would come out with variations on...
"a woman doesn't have the higher brain function to appreciate zappa"
or
"women only care about music if they can dance to it"
or
"all those girls peeing themselves for the beatles... women, huh?"
some of those guys have been in a 12-year-old locker room bubble for farrrr too long. the wanking must be *very* good there.

To be fair, they were right about Zappa
Seriously though, I don't think a lot of them have ever spoken to a woman, other than on a phone sex line or by mouthing the words of male 'actors' while they're watching porn.

welcome Gary.
I never fit in at Hoffman's. I don't fit in here either but I'm far from the only guy who doesn't seem to give a shit.
I also enjoy swearing as you can see. sadly, I'm worse at the Beatles worship than anyone. But, I'm old. I think I get to do that Rudy Vallee sort of thing.
23 skidoo.

So what happened to Stereo Central, anyway? First they take their forums down, then they let the domain name go. Did they decide they proved their point and call it a day, or what?
