Very neat match. A isn't necessarily my favorite from Choirs of the Eye, but still great stuff. And some folky Byrds is always welcome. In this case I'm pretty torn between the two, but for the stronger prog factor I'll give it to A.

I found A terribly boring. Is B prog? I wouldn't say so, and I don't think it is especially good either. Another disappointing match this round

Re: PP2017 Round 5 Match 7
B is not only a very overrated song, it's not prog by any stretch of the imagination. Unless fitting one rule ("it's over five minutes!") is enough, but I would argue it's not.
A is nothing special, but at least it got the memo.

I almost picked a Kayo Dot song but couldn't decide on one. NIce one here love the influences and interesting places this song goes.
Ah Chestnut Mare one of my favorite Byrds songs. Yes its a better song than A but this is a prog contest not any song. this round is starting to bore me with all the non prog songs.

I love prog but A is too waily and drifty for me.
I love B even though it ain't prog.
