Indeed.

I had to let the rest of the staff know this morning.... normally this place is a pretty happy-go-lucky office (even with me as their boss), with people itching to get out on delivery in the lovely weather (maybe because I'm their boss...) ..... I have to say, that was about as tough as I can recall. There were some pretty shattered and unbelieving reactions.... understandably so.

I just don't know how you tell people that kind of thing - a few of them said thanks for dealing with it as honestly and sensitively as I did, which was nice to know. Not much management training for that one....

Puts things in perspective somewhat.

David Crosby's Texas dope case was eventually reversed on appeal.

I have ALWAYS wondered!

My dad "accidentally" broke David Eisenhower's nose in a water polo game in the 70s!

Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D

Jackie chan has made a film where he takes on the RA (IRA). Pierce Brosnan channels his inner Gerry Adams.

In a weeks time I complete 30 years working for Royal Mail - I started on July 6th 1987.

My boss came over today to present me with my gift (yay!) and my Royal Mail Tie Pin (not so wow).

Whist talking with Adam it emerged that I left school at 16 the month before he was born (July & August 1978).

That brought me back down to earth.

The different ranges and guard positions of Muay Thai kickboxing (and MMA) instil a lazy jab that experienced boxers will take advantage of regularly with big overhand rights when you change sports. Also, ice reduces the swelling of black eyes but not the discolouring.

It's been like that for a while.

Thankfully ol' Hodgy's managed to get in though.
