very sad about this, and came completely out of the blue. in "real life" he always came across as a really nice, shy guy, which doesn't always come across in the actual roles he plays. He seemed quite conflicted over the fact that he was adopted, and spoke very honestly but often awkwardly about his experiences tracking down his blood parents. In some interviews he's so incredibly guarded and shy, it's like watching some of Elliott Smith's interviews.

He's extremely well-known in Sweden from his roles in Så Som i Himmelen, Tillsammans/Together and Grabben i Graven Bredvid - probably only Stellan Skarsgard and Mikael Persbrandt would come close. I don't think he was very well-cast for the Millennium-series, but knowing him so well from previous roles it was hard to cast that aside and accept him as Blomkvist...I'd quite like to see them again now and see what I make of them/him.
