Conqueror are one of the newer contemporary prog bands from Italy.

Played this a couple of times recently and it's not done a lot for me.

Australia's finest... Anubis from their super album Tower of Silence, this is the opening track.

Bloody marvellous.



Then went back to this one from 2014, again it's great stuff.

Hitchhiking to Byzantium.

(Odd that I only quite liked them on 1st few plays, now suddenly they've clicked as a best since sliced bread kind of band.)

Big Big Train have released another new album, the 2nd in the last month or so - well they kept that quiet, only announcing it on the Solstice, 2 days before release date.

The Second Brightest Star - already in my possession of course (it's excellent of course) although I didn't buy the t-shirt this time (or the 1,000 piece jigsaw!)
