It's about the only thing mentioned over the last few pages that I might conceivably have any interest in.

NIRVANA Bleach

I listen to this even less than I listen to the Grateful Dead!

Shangaan Electro: New Wave Dance Music From South Africa

My country of birth showing all these British and American urban electronic guys where the real future is. This stuff is fucking mental and awesome. Footwork, juke, Chicago house, and general neo-psychedelia is in debt to this.

^ Looks like a League of Gentlemen tribute to Slipknot.
Like fast-moving clouds casting shadows against a hillside, the melody-loop shuddered with a sense of the sublime, the awful unknowable majesty of the world.

How is it that a couple of folks in their mid-60s (with the help of some other bloke) make techno music that is so much harder and deeper than most of the young blokes' attempts? Awesome record.

Jane Weaver - Modern Cosmology

Tony Allen - A Tribute To Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers

Both marvy.

During my LPD phase, I'm starting to believe this band can do no wrong. Some have noticed a strong Van der Graaf Generator influence on this album. I'd have to agree, because it's fairly obvious Edward Ka-Spel was going through a Peter Hammill phase (most of us do at some point), while working on From Here You'll Watch the World Go By. So, if you're a fan of VdGG, then you'll find probably find this one appealing.

Not a disappointment for once! Okay, I was expecting it to be shitty so saying it isn't is hardly praise but it's actually a couple of semi-decent ambient tracks that could've easily come from one of his two albums from the mid-00s.

I think Burial is a proper busted flush now. What he did was genuinely great, but he never managed to successfully move on, and instead released two tracks a year.

Vinyl version, rather than this CD cover. An absolute classic.
