Re: Better Call Saul
It really is. Loved the yellow shirt getting closer and closer to Jimmy.

Hard to believe that the enthusiastic, bright & perky new receptionist they have just hired is the same grumpy, mercenary person we will see in BB.
I suspect much crushing of the spirit will be done at some point.

Gus may have to take care of that rather irritating assistant manager if he tries to be too helpful.

Re: Better Call Saul
That's a really good point - we thought that Kim might have taped them saying there was a duplicate so that would show it was a set-up. As Chuck says, the rules of evidence at disciplinary hearings are far more lenient, so she might be able to produce it.

Will we see Hector have a stroke before the end of the series?
Mike as the handyman was great, but why take the photos?
And, "Bingo", will Mike steal the second tape or do Kim and Jimmy have a different plan?
Yep, the thought of Hector having a stroke crossed my mind too, he really being provoked by Don Eladio, wasn't he?
And the photos are a bit of a puzzle too. No doubt they'll crop up later.
Not sure what Jimmy & Kim's plans are now though.
It really is turning out to be an absolute cracker of a show, innit?
Re: Better Call Saul
Do we actually know it's a stroke that happens to Hector though. It could be gun shot damage, given the business he's in.

What do you all think about Chuck? Sooner...or later?

Later, I think. He may have another trick up his sleeve.

I think it's coming. He won't be able to keep up his end of the deal.

Re: Better Call Saul
My prediction is that Chuck destroys Kim, then Jimmy destroys Chuck...and Saul is all that's left.
But I guess we'll see.

That was a small, memorable moment that was called back with a vengeance at the end of this week's episode. Poor Kim.
This last episode was the most Breaking Bad-like yet, you see all these long games starting to play out. Some of the eps have felt like wind-ups, this was the first part of the release. I think next week's season finale is going to be even more intense.

The opening credits...
The way it just cuts to the Netflix thing in that really untidy jarring way - what's that all about? Like they couldn't be arsed to do it properly, it really annoys me.

I've been talking about writing a book - 25 years of TEFL - for a few years now. I've got it in me.

Think the reason is that rather than being a "Netflix original" the show is actually made by AMC. Agree with you about the jarring insert of the black NF credit though. Can only surmise it must be deliberate as NF is commercial-free so rigid screentimes are hardly an issue.
