Liam and Noel Gallagher come to mind as two absolute ponces. Tony Banks too.

Ayers, Cale and Nico.

OK, not so much Ayers. But the other two? Wankers.

Cale comes across well these days, I think. But he's definitely been a cunt in the past.

Not as bad as Lou, tho'.

I suppose we should add Macca to the list. Altho' it still doesn't ring true to me...

And to be fair, Ayers DID run off with Cale's wife, supposedly the night before June 1, 1974. Don't know the whole story, but I suppose that's pretty wankerish.

There's also at least some of Blur, plus Paul Simon, Crosby and Stills anyway (if not as much Nash and Young), Don Henley, Ryan Adams...

I'm still holding to the partial 'wanker' impression, but coming up with 100 who are more so doesn't seem that big an ask.

Greg Allman who famously caused the initial break up of the Allman Bros Band by dropping the dime on Scooter Herring, the roadie who used to carry the bag with his drugs in. SH subsequently got sentenced to something like 75 years in jail (his convicition was apparently later quashed).

Then, of course, there's Van Morrison and Eric "Enoch was right" Clapton (was at the gig in question)

To go for the obvious choices:

GG Allin - Famous for being an offensive and rather extreme person, but on musical grounds, he's just about as lame as US punk gets.
Varg Vikernes - I like some of his music, but y'know, murderous homophobic Noel Edmonds lookalikes aren't my cup of tea.
Douglas P & Boyd Rice - Made some genuinely great music. But just too neo nazi for me as people. And Boyd is really supposed to be a proper wanker.

Streisand! Yeah.

Altho' I'd forgive her almost anything if I'd met her around the time of What's Up, Doc?

I've heard the exact opposite from my brother who knows him. He sent him a very generous letter after he heard a track by Tony on the radio. He phoned up the radio station to get the label details, phoned them to get contact details for Tony and sent him a long letter about Tony's album. He then name dropped Tony as an influence on his solo spot on Fly From Here.

Also heard good things about him from other friends as well. although he won't shake hands with anyone.

Paul Weller's integrity bloomed when his attitude towards his Scottish fans became known.
