Pretty bad, but hardly the worst thing that came out of commercial radio in the 70's.

Probably one of the first songs I can remember hearing as a toddler. The lyrics - waking up and your mama being gone - genuimely scared me.

It is pretty crap, but it did inspire this:

Had never heard it. I don't mind the verse with the minor bits, but the chorus is embarrassing. And why are they singing 'Chirpa chirpa' when the song is called 'Chirpy chirpy'? Crazy-town!

Guaranteed to raise a smile..even if it should've been 45 seconds shorter. This, Mungo Jerry and 'Ride a White Swan' basically invented glam rock.
