B was on my short list. A is great - late night oldies DJs have made an LA staple of it, and rightfully so - but that's just too much Wanda to deny.

Mainly because I don't think dropping atomic bombs on Japan is funny.

B is one of those tracks that makes me cringe. It's the musical equivalent to this for fucksake
I guess besides there being humor that is "too soon" there's humor that is "too late". I like Wanda, but I just don't see any greatness or even kitsch value to a song that makes light of atomic bombs that killed 90,000–146,000 people in Hiroshima and 39,000–80,000 in Nagasaki. I find it cringe-worthy and racist as fuck.
A please. A.

Without entering in the discussion about the lyrics or the limits to humour, I find B pretty minor compared to an unknown gem like A.

And after sifting through quite a lot of dreck to pick out a few pearls in this round, these two – both of them on the Dawg's shortlist – get drawn together. Fishsticks.
a - well, if I had radio like hatz had radio, I probably wouldn't have given up listening to it in the mid-1960s. Over here, 'You cheated' was one of those records spoken off by doo-wop afficionados in hushed tones, but no-one actually had a copy, and I didn't finaly get to hear it until way into the 70s. They sound like they've been harmonizing for years, but it's a five-piece studio pick-up band featuring three R&B name vocalists in Frank Ervin, Jesse Belvin and Johnny 'Guitar' Watson. They made magic. 8/10
B - Erm, isn't she comparing her sexuality to a volcano rather than a bomb? Anyway, those were more innocent times and a (white) woman singing about orgasms was one hell of a novelty. 7.5 / 10
A in a close one

B
Let U be the set of all united sets, K be the set of the kids and D be the set of things divided.
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D
