Why won't BCB talk about this?
Perfection.
It takes a big man to cry, but it takes a bigger man to laugh at that man.

My go-to track from that album and style -- it just cruises on and on, as it should. Great band live, the time I saw them. Inspiring.

Fabulous song by a very good band.

Because many of us would find discussing the track no less boring than listening to it.

Great song! Clever clickbait thread title!
I'm fairly positive that Stereolab had been listening to this.

I don't know why, but then a lot of great music doesn't get discussed on BCB.
One of their very best, gorgeous and (a)rousing.

We've talked about em a fair bit over the years. They are one of the few bands of that era where there seems to be a favourable BCB consensus

There's not really much too talk about I think. They borrow elements of certain established styles in a fine synthesis, almost to perfection. But is there much more to comment on?

Clearly there's more to say about people who wear fox heads and sing about selling England.

I like them in small does but always find them rather boring over the course of a whole album I have to say.
The lass is a huge fan but I've never quite clicked with them despite recognising their quality. There's like a detachment there, a cool ironic distance that keeps me from loving them I think

They've taken their cues from Velvet Underground, and not in a good way.

I can see how that would be the case. I was pretty taken with them from the jump, but the live show really closed the deal. They always brought it.

Anna always says they were superb live. She loves Andy Ramsey.
