Oh, so sad. These things are obviously becoming more regular events because of passing years, but they still jab and jar :cry:

Absolutely Billy - the video clip of Allan playing with The Softs is very early in his career

Even as a fledgling he was superb

RIP. Sad to hear that he's passed. No word on his cause of death yet either.

Died totally skint.

The family (or friends of) are doing a fund raising thing to pay for the funeral.

$20k target, they had already raised $53k within a few hours.

That shouldn't happen to anyone as illustrious as Holdsworth (or even anyone at all, I suppose). I wonder why people couldn't have raised money for him while he was alive, but I don't suppose I really know what I'm talking about.
