Part one features randomness from the last days of January, hot from the editing suite...
Investigation
Inspector Scrap checks the Shaky Bridge approaches for Interlopers
Ingestion
The Mill House sheep walk in their lunch, while digesting breakfast
Blue Sparkles
Just because
Tussle
There can only be one winner, and it is not the idiot from next door
Gelato
The paint finishes on these terrace houses on Crediton Green remind me irresistibly of the vanilla and lemon sorbet cones I bought from
Rossi's ice cream van in Tottenham when I was in single figures in the 1950s. There isn't much that I remember with any clarity from those
days, but that van stopping in Bedford Road opposite our house in Clyde Road on a summer Sunday is one of them.

Things are looking up in part one today (have I used that before? Probably. Many, many times).
Part two, meanwhile, is looking increasingly lost.

February Fill-Dyke. Not a promising cognomen, and indeed the plooey did keep me off the camera quite a bit, although I made an occasional effort when the weather co-operated.

Part Two
And in one of the worst cases of oops-a-daisy in some time, I discover I have run out of central Bristol archive temporarily, so a swift decamp to its bottom right corner, around Oldland Common, where we lived from 1990-2005
Moon on a Wire
North Street, Oldland

Cadbury Heath
Boston Ivy
Cullyhall Farm, Oldland
I Dream of Wires
View towards Longwell Green from our attic room
Smell the Folding Money
The Golden Valley, between Bath and Bristol, is named not for the wealth of its occupants, but the colour of the locally quarried stone from
which many of their houses were built
Birds on the Wires
Oldland
Tomorrow, carrying on

Part One
of today's batch continues to zip through February in Sandford and Big Cred.
I don't get about like I used to, you know. When I was younger. And less content.
Sigh..:
Anyway,
Bewitched
The weird and wonderful (not to mention deliciously fragranced) flowers of Hamamelis%20mollis
Streaks
Love that cross-hatching effect as the very high cloud is lined out at an angle to the lower stuff
Meditations on Departed Glories
The Acceptable Face of Banking
Snowdrops on a Devon Bank
"Go Moan for Man"
Yeah, I'm not above quoting Wacky Jacky when the mood – or indeed the Moon – is upon me
Too Cute

Re: An image (or two, or three, maybe a dozen. Or more) a day
First off, the Part Two from yesterday that I didn't press the submit button on
Part Two
Continuing to wander around Oldland Common, mostly in the 1990s. Surrounding countryside is theme today
Brittons Farm
Golden Valley
Good Times
Rude Intrusions
One of those post-boxes where the next collection is always tomorrow, except when it's next week. And that lamp don't belong. Anyways...
It's Clout-Casting Time!
Apologies to all non-Brits for the title. May blossom busting out all over by a stile looking across the Golden Valley
Rules and Regulations
Buttercups and Daisies
Tomorrow, will have to get my arse in gear and sort out some more photos of February. There will probably be more from OC in Part Two.
I went for a few walks in the 15 years I lived there.

Part one is more animal than vegetable and mineral for once, while part two chunters on.
Incidentally, Ms Thang and I are planning a drive-by on Oldland Common tomorrow. Which will be interesting. For me, at least.
Anyways, back to February and attendant joys.
Visitation
C came down to see me just after I heard about my mother's death. I actually went to school with this grizzled, nay whited,
clown-shoed bozo (although, because of my status as a certified child genius, I was a year younger than he was), and he is
now the only person I'm in contact with who remembers both my parents (Dad died in the Holocaust of 1967)
Nunky
C was around when The Scrap was a, well, scrap, and they bonded
No, Like This
Scrap demonstrates the correct way to go for Poppy's froat to Kizzy the pup
Pals
Woodman and Bongo. Good company for 40 years
Pub Lunch
Con's son-in-law and grand-daughter
You Absolutely Sure?
Scrap looks dubious at a descent
