Re: Prog Synch Listen: Starcastle, Friday 17th March @ 9pm
Well, okay. I saw Stacastle supporting Jethro Tull in Canada in 1976 and met them unexpectedly in a burger bar after the show. I thought they were generally perceived to be a Yes-lite joke these days. I did enjoy their performance though as I was a 13 year old neophyte prog goon at the time and hadn't heard much by the real Yes.

It's a robust album- could have done with more bass in the mix but quite enjoyable. These days I prefer Fountains Of Light and Citadel a bit more though.

I think this one has better tunes than Fountains Of Light.

It was a request that was put on the list a couple of years ago by somebody - I can't recall who.
Okay, they are a Yes-clone but a good one and I played the album last week to see if it warranted inclusion and the answer was a definite yes (groan)
I really enjoyed listening to it again

I am here.
And I predict that this one degree of separation is the closest we will ever get to an REO Speedwagon PSL.

greetings, one and all.
time for me to get transported back to a time when i had albums all over the floor, and i was abounding in chemical enhancements.
time has changed me so.
not that i've always been an arthuriana freak.

A flashback for me to. I haven't heard this in I don't know how many years but I am transported back to that Starcastle/Tull gig in 1976.
