Eurgh!

Sorry but in the recent BCB Loud Cup, I found out I actively hated Judas Priest. :?

Me, I just ordered the Complete Basement Tapes for little more than 50 Euro over at amazon.it :)

At the weekend, I bought:

Robbie Basho - The Seal of the Blue Lotus
Piano Magic - Closure
Hair Police - Hair Police
Jon Hopkins - Immunity
Jarboe - The Men Album
GYBE! - f#a#∞
V/A - Electronic Music (It Started Here...)
Like fast-moving clouds casting shadows against a hillside, the melody-loop shuddered with a sense of the sublime, the awful unknowable majesty of the world.

"Hair Police" - great name! Just guessing without looking them up, I'll say they're a hair metal band that cover's Police songs, right?

The Electronic Music comp looks pretty cool.

Holy Cow that's a lot of Vangelis.

As much as I love the 'Blade Runner' soundtrack, I've sadly never really heard anything else much from him.

Just ordered Pete Townshend: Who Came First, Empty Glass, All The Best Cowboys Have Chinese Eyes, White City (I already had Rough Mix, The Iron Man and Psychoderelict). I was surprised how small his solo catalogue is.
turn on, tune in, nod off

You will be happy, I think, because the ones you're buying are much better than the ones you already had!

Great stuff. One of the guys is my close friend, but that's not why I like it. It just is good. The second album is pretty much just as good.

Iron Man and Psychoderelict were charity shop purchases years ago and I think I've played them once each but Rough Mix is pretty good.
