Diamonds can now be 'grown' in a laboratory - and they are absolutely indistinguishable from 'real' diamonds .

'yada yada yada' (in the OED) didn't come from Seinfeld but was originally used by Lenny Bruce in the mid 60s. The dictionary folk just wanted to see if it would stick.

And talking about Seinfeld - I'm not a big fan but this amazing picture was posted on our 'sister board', CaB:

Abraham Lincoln was a skilled wrestler before he took up politics - in a 12 year career, there is record of only one defeat.

That was rather uncalled for, wasn't it? I've never heard of that website before now, it's not unreasonable to enquire about it if you're calling it our sister website.

What's your problem, John?

Your tone, as usual. You weren't reasonably enquiring about the board, and you know it.

If you're genuinely interested then ask about the board, or visit it.

Not difficult to do, is it?

There was no tone, John. I was genuinely asking about the board, actually. It was a genuine question – a perfectly reasonable enquiry as I've never heard of it before. I did visit the site but couldn't see any obvious relation, so I asked about it – as you suggest. I don't get why you take such an aggressive line towards me.

I didn't get that at all.

I'm pretty sure that bhoy wasn't around when you were pushing that site as an alternative to Bcb.

I'm fine.

This

comes across very much as sarcasm to me. The phrasing. And the Bhoy has form.

Anyway. If you want to know about the board, have a look.

That John's wages for being the Pied Piper for C&B probably are not performance based.

It's not sarcasm, John. I've never heard of that board before. I had a look. I couldn't see what it had to do with BCB. So I asked. That's all.

As for form, I've genuinely no idea what your probelm is with me, but whatever it is, how about leaving it in the past? I've barely posted on here for years, so whatever it was that upset you so much has to have been a long time ago, so how about we put it behind us, shake and make up, hmm? Life's too short for this nonsense.

OK?
