New series based on the Dick novel. Anyone watched it yet?

You need an Amazon stick and a very good broadband connection. Probably Fibre Optic. But it is the most amazing device. The pilot of TMITHC was superb. I didn't know the series had been commissioned yet.

I'm intrigued, but we've cut back on our cable & are avoiding Netflix & Apple TV & so something like Amazon TV is out of the question.

With Prime you get free next day delivery from Amazon plus a music streaming service has just launched, a kindle lending library, and the Prime TV and film streaming via a little box, not unlike NoWTv but with a better interface. Of course it isn't free but if you order as much as we do from them, it's a no brainer.
Really enjoyed the pilot of Man etc, can't wait to see the rest of it.
Plus it has the magnificent Bosch series.
The extra box is £35. Prime is £75 per annum or so. After that it's all free.

I watched the pilot and was not overly impressed. The effort to recreate a Nazi-fied USA is bold but falls flat IMO due to the comic book woodenness of the acting and dialogue. I was irked also, as I have been before on other western TV shows, by the ignorant way the Japanese are portrayed - super polite and overly spiritual - and in the bad and bogus Japanese lettering on the signs.
Question authority.

In the UK, it's on "Amazon Prime" which is free if you subscribe to the - guess what - Amazon Prime delivery package.

Nancy has an Amazon prime account so I've just found out I can can put the app onto my iPad, use her log-in details and beam it straight to the TV. Magic.

Upto episode 3. I'm enjoying it overall even though bits of it are corny. Rufus Sewell makes a good Nazi. The massive jet-planes are a good guess what might have happened in an alternate history. I'll keep watching.

Promoting the series by plastering Nazi and Imperial Japan insignias all over the NY subway systems has apparently angered some people.

I was confused by episode two as nobody apart from the main female character is who they pretend to be. Not convinced it isn't full of plot holes!

I'm confused by what's supposed to have happened at the end of WW2. The films in the canisters…are they real or what?

If you think the show is confusing, try reading the book!

Watched the first one. Some nice stage design but the acting and dialogue is very "B" movie isn't it. Not sure I'll bother with any more given how much other stuff I still have to watch.

Just had a mega session and finished watching all 10 episodes.

Without ruining it....there's a load of loose ends that didn't get tied up and the last scene on the last episode is ridiculous!

Just finished it, really enjoyed it although it doesn't explain the films and the last scene is bonkers as Prof said. Season 2 has been commissioned.

I'm about halfway through. I like the look of it - I'm not so sure about the adaptation but I'll see it through.

We've just recently got Amazon Prime, so I'm about 4 episodes in. It's ok, but I don't find it very suspenseful. The drabness of it is effective, though, and I'm always MORE than happy to gaze at Rufus Sewell in uniform. Oh baby.

A Nazi uniform!
Oh well, I suppose it was a Hugo Boss creation (apparently).
