I did actually watch the first four seasons of GoT, but I still have no idea what the hell is going on, what the plot is, who's who and to be honest, I'm not that bothered.

I still haven't got round to watching season 5, but I won't be remedying that anytime soon. I don't think it's bad, in fact far from it. From what I've seen, the production values are excellent. It just doesn't do it for me.

EDIT: Pippa has previously pointed out to me that I don't like the more dynastic aspects of real-world history, the Tudors, Plantagenets, etc. I suspect that this may be playing into my indifference to the fictional GoT.

Someone quickly found an old scene where she took the necklace off but remained normal... the suggestion is that the vial of whatever-it-was on on her table might have been the, ahem, secret ingredient.

Or that there's something else behind the sudden aging...

Have to admit I was a bit meh over the episode in general, but I'm sure things will be rolling along nicely by no.3 or 4

At least four of seven Hells will break loose this season, I think.

Shame that Evil Dad had to go. He was a better character than his son: crazy is easy to do but I liked the ruthless, very sane evil of Roose.

The identity of the people fighting at the end of the episode 3 teaser really had me puzzled for a while, but I'm pretty sure I've got it figured out now.

Yes I was gutted he went as well. I think Michael McElhatton played him superbly - as good as Charles Dance with Tywin Lannister.

If I'm right about that teaser a major game-changer in the Game of Thrones is coming to pass.
