Re: Jeemo vs Good Taste
I must have missed the Jeemo attack on Googa. Tellingly, I didn't miss this. (*poke* *poke* *poke*)
It took me a while to realize this, but Jeemo is actually one of the more easygoing people here. He can have a caustic sense of humor, but there's no actual meanness in it.
Anybody wanting to learn a quick way to lose people's sympathy need look no farther than this textbook example.

Anyone that attacks the man that was directly responsible for me seeing Zep at the O2 has an enemy for life in me.

Good thing you've been a dick to Googs since the beginning,
wouldn't want you to 'un dick' yourself
It's kinda depressing for a music forum to be proud of not knowing musicians.

Would you care to comment on the dickishness of Googa, or is it just an opportunity to have a go at the dog.

Aah, now I see what Zephead had to say.... not much changes there then. Same old drivel.

In the great scheme of things this is pretty harmless, but you would probably be glad to hear both you and he do bear a resemblance.

Jock says this place would be better off without me, I am sure it would, but I would turn it around and say, I'd be better off without this place. I don't know why I keep coming back for more punishment, I really don't. It is totally irrational of me, and I have not been able to stay away for more than a two week stretch. We'll never see eye to eye on music, but I do find it a bit flattering that Jeemo, in addition to the predictable finger, should go to the trouble of showing me his Trane tee-shirt. Must try harder to keep away, for my own sake, if nothing else.

You could delete your account, if it is too hard. Some people did that just to take a bit of distance from this place.

Illegitimi non carborundum.
Screw them. I know, I know, they're bullies but they're not very good at taking it. The sister boys go running to the (non-existent) mods every time.

If he has, I've missed it. And of course if you asked BCB at large who the assholes are, many many names would come up before his. Present company not excluded.

Yeah, well your opinion isn't worth any more here than it is at your workplace or even your household, Jockboy, so you know where you can stuff it.

I get the idea, but after this personal Waterloo of mine, I don't think that will be necessary. Besides, I will still check Muskrat's death notices. BCB was the first place I learnt of Percy Sledge's passing today.
