A, which I like a lot, got a tough draw here because B is very strong and getting stronger.

This one took a bit of time as I felt I ought to listen to the links on B. It's a list that definitely has its moments, and I'd be interested in hearing where it goes next, but there are several things I dislike among both the familiar (am I alone in finding those Rodriguez records really mediocre?) and unfamiliar ('African Disco Power' got really annoying after a couple of minutes) and so it's A that I'm going for, as it also pulls out some great picks despite a certain lack of variety.

Dig the Elmore James in B's new five. New five in A and overall is more consistent though

I like the way list B is shaping up. Much more interesting new 5 than the other list.
Where would rock 'n' roll be without feedback?

Apologies B, some fab tracks there, and in most other matches you'd have the cookies.
But here it's A.

This was looking close, but the links swayed me much more to A both positively (the great Calvin Arnold and Sanford Clark) and negatively (that hideous Ana Tijoux thing)

This was close enough for me to count it it twice using different methods; both confirmed it was A 26, B 22. Good battle, but A always just had the edge. B was Geezee, whose list was a little unlucky, as it picked up a number of plaudits. Anyway, congrats to A, and let's have those five songs!
Right, give me half-an-hour, and I'll get tonight's lists up.

This was a very tough match up Geezee. I really liked your list a lot. Better luck next year.
