the Damned were the better band,
the Pistols had the initial burst but were already out of ideas after the four singles

It is one of the Pistols very finest tunes - an absolute snorter of a riff, a wonderfully sneering lyric and (above all) maybe the best ever capture of Steve Jones' monumental guitar sound. I really don't give a shit if that sound is heavy metal-ish (though I've never heard heavy metal like it) - it simply doesn't matter. To this day, it still shakes you to your core. And it has one of the finest feedback endings of all too.

Glorious, just completely fucking glorious.
